Clarke Telecom is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Small Cell and Private Network project team. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-growth, cutting-edge sector focused on delivering small cell, private network, and IoT projects. Supporting the Project Leaders, the Assistant Project Manager will help ensure end-to-end project delivery, manage team members, and liaise with customers to uphold high standards of service.

In this position, you’ll take delegated ownership of key project milestones, prepare progress reports, and coordinate regular project review meetings with internal and external teams. You’ll assist with scoping sites alongside Project Engineers and play a role in creating action and recovery plans. You’ll also work closely with clients, ensuring timely and accurate project updates while resolving any issues or queries that arise. Additionally, you'll manage project change requests, support client communications, and attend on-site reviews when needed.

The role involves overseeing internal and external resources to meet Service Level Agreements, ensuring project compliance, and supporting the development of team members. You’ll help maintain project documentation, including technical escalation logs, build checklists, and handover documents, to ensure smooth project transitions. Further responsibilities include supporting the financial management of resources, managing project data across platforms, and providing insights to senior management and clients.

The Assistant Project Manager will also coordinate with suppliers to handle equipment orders and deliveries, resolve logistical challenges, and work with the Project Coordinators on equipment programming. Travel to other UK locations and flexibility for late or weekend work may be required.
