Join Our Team as a Product Support Engineer
We're hiring for exciting roles, including a Product Support Engineer at our Havant facility, WASP. Be part of a team that creates high-end passenger products like custom lighting and luxury switches for aircraft interiors.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate : Work with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and production improvements. Support : Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely engineering support. Design : Utilize 2D & 3D CAD (Solidworks) for design changes and BOM management. Prototype : Engage in 3D printing, prototyping, and hands-on builds. Innovate : Drive design enhancements considering manufacturability and cost. Document : Review and approve documentation impacted by design changes.Key Skills:
Analytical and detail-oriented approach to design and manufacturing. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong initiative, even with limited information. Excellent interpersonal skills across all business levels. Proficiency in Solidworks (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Essential Qualifications:
Degree / HNC / HND in a relevant engineering field. Experience in designing products and assemblies.Desirable Qualifications:
Understanding of aircraft manufacturers’ qualification standards (e.g., D6-36440, RTCA/DO-160).About You:
