Armley Action Team CIC

We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator reporting to the Operations Director, responsible for coordinating a volunteer scheme for adults and young people. This role will be hands-on in the first instance as we are in start-up phase, with the expectation of working alongside volunteers within our food and community retail services, as well as at Armley Festival and events.

Our aim is to grow the work we do by increasing our volunteer team, to support more children, families, young adults and adults in the area to realise their potential, to improve the Town Street area and to bring out the best in Armley. The post is funded initially until end of March 2027 with potential to be extended subject to funding.

We’re looking for someone who has the ability to lead, learn and grow alongside us. We need an energetic, friendly and organised person who thrives on bringing the best out in others, and feels driven by our mission and values.

Hours: 18 hours per week to be worked by arrangement over 3-4 days (Mon, Wed, Fri) and including 2 Saturdays per month Location: Gelder Road Armley Salary: £23,088 (pro rata £11,032 per annum for 18 hours per week) Contract Type: Fixed term until end of March 2027 (may be extended subject to funding) Deadline to apply is midnight on Thursday 18th July 2024 Interviews will be held w/c 22nd July 2024
