What We’re Looking For:

Chelsea FC are looking for someone to provide world class management of Club Partners; delivering industry-leading servicing, maintaining excellent relationships and delivering against business objectives, ensuring proactive and positive partnerships

Brief description and duties:

- Management of Club Global and Regional commercial Partnerships (accounts to be defined) in line with their business objectives and partnership KPIs, ensuring all contractual rights are delivered in a timely manner and to the highest standard.

- Planning, implementation and evaluation of effective partner campaigns using Chelsea assets and IP. This includes a proactive approach to agreeing objectives and KPIs, campaign ideation, collaborating with the Club’s Marketing department to deliver best-in-class both digital and physical campaigns, with detailed reporting and analysis.

- Work with the Club’s Player Activation team to deliver partners’ contracted appearances with the Men’s and Women’s teams (such as meet & greets, filming/photo shoots and official Club events)

- Managing contracted legend appearances working closely with the Senior Player Activation Manager

- Delivery of relevant partners’ activations domestically and in global markets, including CSR programmes, match day experiential, pitch events and pre-season tours

- Support Partnerships Strategic Lead in building strong partner relationships through a variety of hosting opportunities and encouraging networking and collaboration between partners where relevant Work with Partnership representative in international offices to ensure consistency of partner servicing across all territories.

- Work with club’s monitoring agency and internal Insights Team and utilise evaluation tools to track partner return on investment and extract insights to advise partners on best use of branded assets and content.

- Work with Partnerships Strategic Lead to build best-in-class case studies for use across the Club’s Commercial function.

- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure partners are successfully integrated across the Club, including partner integration into club marketing campaigns, events, pre-season tours, CSR projects and player endorsements.

- Demonstrate expertise on relevant partners, their industries and competitors within their category through consistent research and monitoring.

- Lead meetings with internal stakeholders, Club partners, their agencies and other external parties.

- Attention to detail when it comes to offering world class servicing to Club partners including creating unique experiences and going the extra mile for partners.

- Identification of relevant industry news & insights and communication of them to the department.

- Support Partnerships Strategic Lead on special projects, partnership events and in identifying and maximising commercial opportunities with current and prospective partners.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience within the sponsorship/sports marketing industry.

- Experience of account managing brands on a global scale.

- Experience of activating brand campaigns across social media and digital platforms, with strong knowledge of digital marketing optimisation.

- Strategic & analytical capability.

- A commercial, results driven individual with entrepreneurial capabilities.

- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing capability.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, ExCel and PowerPoint

- A proven team player who is calm, professional, works well under pressure and is diligent and detail orientated.

- Attention to detail is essential.

- Willing to work between locations and to be flexible with working hours (including working weekends and international travel)
