About The Role

As a Health and Safety Apprentice in Morrison Water Services, you are interested in learning, problem solving, and have a passion for health and safety. You enjoy working as part of a team, are adaptable, confident, and have high levels of attention to detail. This role is for someone who loves a challenge and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

Your remit would be to prioritise activities, multi-task, provide data to board packs and reporting, and put forward suggestions for improvement. You will be given the support and development to become a fully qualified health and safety professional.

In this role, you will assist with inspections, system audits, tool box talks, and investigations, and eventually take ownership of tasks, trends, and risk assessments.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be a team player with an inquisitive eye for details and a willingness to learn and lead by example.

As our next Health and Safety Apprentice, you'll be leading inspections, system audits, tool box talks, and investigations. You will be instrumental in driving improvements and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, championing our 'It Starts with me campaign'.

The Key Requirements...

Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics (9-4 within the new grading system) A full UK or EU Driving Licence You must be able to demonstrate your Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role You must be able to start on the 2nd September 2024 You must live in a commutable distance from the office, DA59PP Ability to work on own initiative without direct supervision with a high commitment for delivery and quality

About the Apprenticeship

At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 3 Health and Environment Technician Qualification. The course length is 24 months.
