TPFRecruitment is supporting an excellent chartered accountancypractice based in Maidstone who are looking for an Accounts& Tax Manager to join their experienced team across ageneral accounts and tax focused position. This position willenable you to work very closely with the partner and support themwith the larger more prestigious clients of the business whereyoull be able to learn and develop advisory skills in areas such asadvising on business transactions and general corporate finance.

Asan Accounts and Tax Manager you will report directly to the partnerand be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of smallbusiness owners through to significantly sized groups. Dependent onyour interests there will be an opportunity to support the partnerwith more technical advisory project work but this isnt essential.You will have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexibleworking hours. Youwill be responsiblefor:
  • Prepareand review annual statutory accounts corporation partnership andpersonal taxreturns.
  • Preparemonthly and quarterly accounts and VATreturns.
  • Managingyour client portfolio and clientrelations.
  • Overseeand review the work of more junior staff andbookkeepers.
  • Onboardnew clients and assist the partners with adhoc consulting andsystems implementation work asrequired.


Requirements
  • Youwill be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 yearsexperience withinpractice.
  • Youwill have worked as a Senior Accountant /Team Leader/ ClientManager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands onexperience of accounts management accounts tax andVAT.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3years experience within practice. You will have worked as SemiSenir or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris andcloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would beadvantageous
