Frozen Logistics Manager

Food Service Logistics (FSL) completes deliveries off chilled and ambient goods across the UK for a well-known brand. In partnership with our customer there is a desire to increase the end users experience through introducing frozen products into our delivery network. FSL's current supply chain is highly adaptable but currently only set up for chill and ambient stockholding/onward delivery methods. We are looking for a successful candidate that can join a diverse, dynamic and service driven team to enable us to widen our offering for our major customer. The role will be to help design solutions, track, test and trace temperature requirements and implementation of the solution throughout our supply chain network on time and on budget. Once established a successful candidate would be responsible for the continual success of the frozen offering to our customer.
Key Requirments:
- To be able to manage a project and have the ability to be able to communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience within a frozen/multi temperature distribution supply chain in essential,
- HACCP certification and Transport manager CPC are desirable
- The role will involve the requirement to be able to prove concepts and roll out the correct frozen delivery network.
- Be able to track performance through effective KPI reporting, status updates and budget responsibility.
- Successful candidate must have proven management skills with excellent communication including customer relations
- Successful individual will be a key stake holder in rolling out a frozen delivery network across the UK
- Travelling between site including customer locations will be required.
- Previous transport and/or warehouse operations management is required.
