To support our work we are recruiting to the following role:

Lecturer in Adult Nursing (0.6FTE - Western Isles based)

0.6 FTE Lecturer- Stornoway, WI  

We are seeking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic individual as a Lecturer who would value the opportunity to be involved in the education of the next generation of nurses and health care professionals and contribute to pre and post-registration education. Depending on experience there are opportunities for teaching and research or teaching and scholarship positions. 

Applicants must be an experienced Nurse who is on Part 1 of the register, who wishes to develop their career to provide high quality and innovative teaching to students undertaking undergraduate education in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery.

Ideally applicants should have experience of teaching and learning of pre and post-registration students. Experience of delivering academic education and a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential. 

The successful candidate will join a team committed to enhancing education of nurses, midwives and allied health
