An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygiene Manage r at Cranswick Gourmet Bacon. Through a culture of continuous improvement, the successful candidate will lead a motivated hygiene team to maintain the site in a hygienic condition throughout the shift. Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the days hygiene shift, managing the day hygiene Team Leaders\ and the key point of contact for all days ' related tasks, issues and opportunities.
Job Summary:
As the Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hygiene within our facilities. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards to uphold a clean and safe working environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement hygiene policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to hygiene protocols.
- Manage a team of hygiene staff, providing training, guidance, and support to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to address hygiene-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for daily operations.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and incidents for reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hygiene processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a hygiene management role within the sector.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, building maintenance, and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Certification in hygiene or related field is preferred but not required.
