Position: Permanent Design & Technology Teacher

Location: Colne, Lancashire

Start Date: September 2024

As a Design & Technology Teacher at our school, you will:

  • Inspire and engage students in the exciting world of design, engineering, and technology.
  • Foster creativity and critical thinking through practical projects and problem-solving activities.
  • Deliver dynamic lessons that integrate theory with real-world applications, preparing students for future careers in STEM fields.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and enhance teaching practices.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential, providing tailored guidance and feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, competitions, and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design and technology education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
