About theRole

We are seeking a passionate Head of Dramato join our vibrant school community. As the Head of Drama you willbe responsible for developing and implementing an engaging Dramacurriculum that stimulates students creativity and passion for theperforming arts. You will lead a talented team ensuring highstandards of teaching and learning and contribute to the overalldevelopment of the schools arts culture.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Lead and manage theDrama department promoting excellence in teaching andlearning.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensiveDrama curriculum that meets the needs of allstudents.
  • Inspire and motivate students toachieve their full potential in Drama.
  • Organizeand oversee school productions workshops and extracurricularactivities.
  • Monitor and assess student progressproviding effective feedback andsupport.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhancethe overall arts program in the school.
  • Stayupdated with current educational trends and best practices in Dramaeducation.

AboutYou:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with adegree in Drama or a related field.
  • Provenexperience in teaching Drama with a track record of achievingexcellent results.
  • Strong leadership andorganizational skills.
  • A passion for Drama andthe performing arts.
  • The ability to inspire andmotivate students and staff.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Acommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenand young people.
