Radis Community Care have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our home-based team.

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities.

About the role

Working closely with and supported by the Head of Contracts the role will involve:-

Preparation, co-ordination and submission of Selection Questionnaires (SQs) Use pre-existing bids and our own archives, and write customer specific persuasive professional responses to ITT questions Deliver completed written responses to the Head of Contracts against agreed deadlines Bid library management and collation Coordinating with internal teams to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed. Conducting research on Local Authorities, geographical areas and completing learning around market and sector to inform bid proposals

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Essential:

Strong written English language skills Experience within the Health and Social Care Sector Excellent interpersonal skills Have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines Well organised with a high attention to detail Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Word document styles

Desirable:

Strong evidenced backed experience of writing high quality Selection Questionnaires and tenders Knowledge of learning disabilities and/or complex services (including continuing healthcare) would be beneficial Good understanding of tendering/procurement procedures and the legality that surrounds these Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional travel

We would consider offering this role as a Part Time opportunity but with the expectation of no less than 22/24 hrs per week . The salary / annual leave offered would be pro-rata'd for such an arrangement.
