Position Overview
As an MSK Physiotherapist (Band 6 or 7) at our practice, you will be at the heart of delivering outstanding patient care. We’re seeking someone with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience who excels in manual therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitation. Your expertise will help our patients achieve their health goals and improve their quality of life.
What You'll Do
- Thorough Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including detailed history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Personalised Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Hands-On Therapy: Provide hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and other therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and enhance functional outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on self-management techniques, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support their long-term well-being.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and communications with other healthcare providers.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest developments in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through continuous professional development and participation in relevant training programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- State licensure and registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
