We’re looking for a Social Media & Website Content Editor to join our Communications and Public Affairs team in Burnley.

 

About the role and person:

  • 35 hours
  • Permanent

 

As our Social Media & Website Content Editor you will be responsible for the day to day running of our website and social media platforms ensuring we deliver a ‘best in sector’ approach to the development of these important channels. The position will create, curate, and manage high-quality digital content across social media and other communication channels to enhance the association's online presence and engage with residents, stakeholders, and the community.

 

This role involves developing and implementing social media strategies, producing multimedia content that aligns with Accent’s goals and value and fosters interactive and informative online communities. By effectively leveraging social media platforms and digital content, the specialist aims to promote the association's initiatives, support resident satisfaction, and strengthen the association's brand and reputation.

 

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £30,466 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Social Media & Website Content Editor ?

  • Previous experience managing a social media channel
  • Faultless copywriting and editing ability
  • Experience of creating online content as part of an agency or in-house team
  • Exceptional eye for design and multi-media content creation
  • The ability to keep customers at the heart of what we do

Location

The successful candidate will be a visible presence across the organisation and will be required to live within a commutable distance to our  Burnley  Office.

 

We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet our customers’ needs.

 

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
