Role

The successful applicant will be expected:

To conduct research under the supervision of senior colleagues and to contribute to the production of research. To assist in the identification and development of potential areas of research and the development of proposals for independent or collaborative research projects. To setup and conduct research activities within partner organisations (e.g. the NHS), including stakeholder meetings. To coordinate with ethics and other research regulatory bodies. To contribute to development of study protocols and research tools. To perform data collection and analysis, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of the project milestones. To contribute to producing research outputs, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and grant proposals. 

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed

PhD in Applied Health Research or related discipline or equivalent experience. Knowledge of health behaviour change science, co-production methods and a range of qualitative research methods. Ability to communicate research and effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders. Experienced in carrying out both independent and collaborative research. Experience in conducting research studies in healthcare settings, particularly the NHS, including liaison with regulatory and ethics bodies, site set-up, recruitment, and data collection. Ability to write research reports and develop research proposals.Willingness to travel for data collection.
