Job Role:            HGV Technician
Location:            Stoke
Pay:                     £39,000
Shift:                   M-F Days 8am – 5pm (40 hrs)
Contract:            Full time Permanent role

HGV Technician opportunity

Join our team as an HGV Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our fleet of circa 50 vehicles (DAF & Iveco) to include some trailers and forklifts. Your skills in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles according to our scheduled procedures will be key to our success

HGV Technician duties
  • Perform repairs to meet or exceed VOSA standards.
  • Adhere to established safety, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the VMU Shift Coordinator, FLM, and Logistics team to ensure vehicle availability aligns with delivery schedules.
  • Maintain vehicles and other fleet assets in accordance with Company and VOSA standards.
HGV Technician qualifications/experience required
  • Able to work a  M-F straight day shift of 8am – 5pm
  • industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) or be time served on heavies
