DoubleTree by Hilton Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf resort is just outside Glasgow in Cumbernauld and is a 4*, 148-bedroom property. Our hotel has an 18-hole golf course, and the dining options include the Flemings restaurant, the Grill restaurant, and we offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces. The leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, tennis courts, and a relaxing Elemis spa. This is an exciting time for the hotel as it has had some investment in the restaurant & lounge areas

What will I do?

You will be a strong leader who has the ability to articulate a vision for the hotel, embed our new values, being able to narrate how we are doing and where we are heading, influence and move the whole team in one direction, together. You’ll have responsibility for all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, people management, financial performance, sales & revenue generation and delivering a return on investment.

Is this the role for me?

Passionate about continually driving top line performance.Previous experience operating a large M&E, Golf, Leisure & Spa, or multifaceted hotel.Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts.Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.Create a culture focused on delivering the highest levels of customer scores and online reputation.Have visibility within the propertyAn ability to think for oneself whilst understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability.Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all commercial and financial aspects of hotel operations.Identify potential opportunities and challenges and devise strategies to deal effectively with both.Highly passionate & driven about hospitality.
