About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Canterbury College, part of the East Kent Colleges Group for a Learning Skills Coach Team Leader. You will lead the Learning Resources and Learning and Skills Coaches teams. You will provide strong customer service ensure students receive excellent access to relevant resources for learning provide a comprehensive learning and skills offer including English, Maths, Study and digital skills support student learning and progression You will support the learning resources service maintain, review and replace Learning Resource Centre resources (including books, e-books, e-resources, journals etc) ensure the resources reflect the learning requirements of curriculum maintain a positive learning environment in the LRC work with departments to promote events and progression for studentsAlongside our priority of excellent student experience, we also focus on our employees. About You
You will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan engaging and innovative sessions with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention will be a vital part of the role, ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.You will be passionate about making a difference to the future careers of our students, providing academic and pastoral support. Vocational experience is essential.
