We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Services Multi-Skilled Engineer with electrical and mechanical qualifications to join our  team at the Spalding site.  As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will have experience of breakdown and preventative maintenance, working with the Engineering Team Leaders and the wider engineering team ensuring production targets are met by providing the appropriate technical support.

Shift Pattern - Days 4on 4off (6:00am-6:00pm)

Our successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, have enthusiasm for achieving exceptional results and be able to work effectively both on their own initiative and as part of a wider team.  They will also have experience of working with sophisticated meat processing and packing equipment and a clear understanding and awareness of legislative, health and safety and environmental requirements. 

An understanding of continuous improvement would be an advantage enabling the successful candidate to work with the engineering team to drive the change from a “reactive culture” to an “proactive culture” by enhancing equipment performance and reliability by coaching and developing technical skills and knowledge in the maintenance teams.

A formal engineering apprenticeship and relevant academic qualifications to suit your experience is essential for this role as is proven hands on mechanical and electrical experience.
