You will be the specialist who will provide technical advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, building fabric, and utility services across the Hereford County Hospital estate. What you’ll do:  

  • Delivery of the Estates Maintenance Service, including programmed and reactive maintenance across multiple disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, mandatory, and contractual obligations in the delivery of the Estates Maintenance Service.  Evidential documentation in support of compliance to be managed and available to satisfy audit requirements.
  • Update and maintain accurate records including, PDA, job dockets and service repotrts.
  • Establishment and maintenance of effective communications and working relationships both internally and externally to Sodexo​

What you bring:  

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a relevant field
  • Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge.
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills
  • Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude 
  • Capable of working as part of a team or unsupervised, and of remaining calm under pressure
