Job summary

The Radiology Nursing team is looking for a Staff Nurse to join on a full-time, permanent basis. This post is suitable for newly qualified/registered nurses, those wishing to explore a new competency or nurses with existing experience within Radiology.

You will take an active role in planning and providing a high standard of care to all patients requiring invasive and non-invasive radiological investigations, thus contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Radiology department.

Main duties of the job

To work with the Radiology Nursing Manager/Lead nurse in planning and organising nurse-led initiatives such the Hysterosalpingogram service. Assist and participate with the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff within the department where appropriate. Participating in clinical audit and clinical governance. To act at all times in accordance with the NMC code of Professional Conduct.
