Salary: £8920 per annum (pro rata'd from full time equivalent of £22,300 per annum)
Protocol are looking for an Arboriculture Technician to maintain equipment and support practical sessions for Arboriculture students in Landbased and Equine department.
Role and responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of Arboriculture practical teaching lessons
- Support students undertaking practical activity under the direction of a member of teaching staff
- Ensure the Arboriculture areas are kept to a high standard.
- Prepare materials for practical classes.
- Ensure administrative procedures are completed efficiently, including statutory and internal returns, stock and asset registers.
Successful candidate will have:
- Minimum Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry
- Small Fell trained
- Access to a tree and aerial rescue trained
- First Aid at Work +F
- Experience working in a similar position
