The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.Delivering and collecting goods to customers using a curtain sided vehicle.Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.Using a handheld PDA to complete daily vehicle checks.Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Driver:

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.Working to deadlines.Confident, polite and a team player.Good geographical knowledge.Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
