Requirements

What's the opportunity

Reporting to the VP of Digital & Software, you will be responsible for all of the software & controls design, engineering, testing and validation of all systems in the vehicle electrical architecture for our current and next generation electric vehicles.

What you will do:

  • Leading, designing and refining processes and operational procedures and processes
  • Developing and contributing the development of strategic plans and technical roadmaps
  • Building a high performing technical team ensuring we have a breadth and expertise to meet project demands
  • Leading and mentoring the team, actively contributing of technical solutions for specific challenges, and utilizing expertise and experience to improve results  
  • Ensuring the delivery of technical components for the projects are met on time
  • Developing metrics and evaluation processes to assess team and project performance
  • Ensuring the correct tools  and equipment are in place to deliver technical solutions for multiple projects

Who you are:

  • Engineering related degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Software & Controls within an automotive environment
  • Experience as a strong leader, whilst managing teams and providing technical guidance
  • Experience in influencing technical strategies and project outcomes
  • You have a 'can do' attitude and are always focused on achieving great results with a track record of delivering various projects
  • A calm multitasker who successfully manages, priorities, and executes against tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
