We’re seeking a Senior Homologation/Certification Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Head of Homologation, you will be part of a small, motivated team leading certification and compliance activities. You will be part of a cross functional team working with requirements, interpretations and certification testing across Forseven’s vehicle programmes in global markets, including Europe, North America, Gulf States and China.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical leadership to the team on regulatory matters, both technical and administrative.
  • Lead the legislative requirements for programmes and ensure these are clearly communicated and understood by relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and type approval authorities, keeping apace of changes that will challenge the business and its vehicle programmes
  • Represent the business on external working groups and committees, promoting the business’s interests
  • Collate and disseminate regulatory requirements, regulatory changes and industry best practices inline with product strategy and the product definition
  • Support the business in understanding and interpreting regulations that relate to vehicle, system and components
  • Develop processes and procedures to support the delivery of type approval within their subject expertise

 

Who you are

  • Experience in vehicle certification, legislation, design or testing
  • Experience in an appropriate technical position within the motor vehicle industry
  • Diligent and detail focused
  • Strong communicator and empathetic
  • Agile and energized working in a start-up environment
