Role Purpose:

The Transformation Manager will be a key contributor in the design and delivery of our People policies.  They will collaborate with the wider People team to understand the requirements for our people policies, with the aim to deliver a suite of simple, innovative, and engaging policy documents that can be easily consumed and understood and support the transformation of the National Lottery. The Transformation Manager will also work closely with the People team functions to develop their individual transformation plans.

Role Responsibilities:
  • To deliver a comprehensive review, redesign and rewrite of our people policies.
  • Ensure policies are developed and designed with DE&I at the heart of them.
  • Work closely with the Business Partner, Reward and People Ops Team to understand the priorities and develop a clear plan of activity.
  • Work with the relevant project leads to ensure Policies are supported by any required processes, work instructions and procedures.
  • An active part of the People team, providing external insight into how policies can be developed and delivered in a new and engaging way. You’ll bring your knowledge of best practice in policies across operations and employee relations.
  • Ensure policies are developed and designed with DE&I at the heart of them.
  • Work with our key delivery suppliers to ensure the policies, particularly for reward are clear, concise and engaging to help ‘sell’ new benefits and ensure colleagues know how to easily access them.
  • Ensure all policy updates are communicated both in and outside of the people team, working closely with the Employee Forum and Communications teams.
  • Work in conjunction with the Assurance Manager to ensure the policy updates are monitored and coordinated through the appropriate assurance frameworks.
  • Liaise across Allwyn Group to understand any alignment, learnings and/ or share AEL policies to benefit the wider Allwyn network.
Key Measures of Success:
  • Provide clarity and consistency in managing colleagues, thus ensuring legal compliance and best practice, establishing fair practices and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Robust plan for the re-invention and development of all People Policies as required for the next 12 months.
  • Simplify key employee relations processes to help deliver a great place to work and effect employee’s feelings of openness and transparency towards Allwyn.
  • Feedback/ engagement from the Employee forum and Communities (as relevant) to ensure maximum impact.

Requirements

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering HR projects on time and with strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience as an HR Generalist who has developed best in class employee related policies.
  • Excellent written comms with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to deal with rapidly changing business conditions.
