They enjoy bowling and going for lunch at cafés. Some also attend regular clubs, enjoy going on boat trips and they all enjoy like-minded people's companionship They need a staff team who can support them with all forms of transport; one has their own mobility vehicle and they also enjoy using their bus passes, taking the train or using a taxi. They need someone who can confidently support them to manage their physical health and can support at physio sessions in a hydro pool too. Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard enriching the lives of the people we support, with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
Your values:

It takes a special person to work in social care, and we recognise that not everyone who might be perfect for the role, will have any professional experience. This is why we are really passionate about recruiting to your values. This means we can recruit from all walks of life, from people with vast experience in support work or care assistant roles, to those with lived experiences looking after friends or family members with disabilities, to people with other transferable skills or those with no experience at all.

This is at the heart of everything we do and ensures that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support. People's values are important to us, so we look for people with: A caring nature, with a mature outlook Patience, Resilience and Determination Compassion, Sensitivity, and Empathy Honesty and Reliability A strong work ethic, and a natural problem solver Here at Community Integrated Care, we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to be an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all – where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated, and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work. By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.
We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there. You can read more about this by clicking here.
