Job Description

To support the completion of the M55 Project in our Appledore site we require an Electrical Draughtsperson on a temporary basis until approx. December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Electrical Drawings: Create detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software. Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with electrical engineers to understand project specifications and requirements. Revise and Update Drawings: Update existing drawings and documentation as needed to reflect design changes and project progress. Maintain Documentation: Ensure all drawings and related documents are filed and maintained in accordance with company procedures and industry standards. Quality Control: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards. Site Visits: Occasionally visit project sites to gather information and verify drawing accuracy. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the engineering team and other departments as needed. Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson or similar role. Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
