HWB-T03 - Faculty Technician

Job description
The University is looking to appoint a Faculty Technician, who will form a key part of a growing team in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing team of Technicians who oversee the Faculty’s specialist facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting any activities being delivered in the specialist facilities within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. This includes clinical, therapy, and laboratory spaces and will involve the maintenance, preparation, calibration and safe keeping of facility equipment while enforcing safe working practices and overseeing equipment usage.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently using their own initiative, with excellent time management and organisational skills. They will facilitate the smooth running of the Faculty facilities by assisting in the co-ordination of space and equipment use to meet the necessary demands and perform assigned administrative tasks.
