Interested in joining a supportive, inclusive, and diverse team in an international legal business? Our Casualty Insurance team at DWF provide expertise in defendant personal injury work and are currently hiring for an Associate to join the team in Birmingham.
The role will involve managing a varied caseload including casualty, disease, EL/PL, historic abuse, stress and RTA claims along with supporting partners with other wide ranging and complex matters.
About the role
We will consider applications from candidates with strong post-qualification experience of handling personal injury litigation and experience of working within a busy commercial environment. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, good attention to detail and some previous supervisory experience.
On a daily basis this will include:
Ensuring, in conjunction with the Partner, that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Ideally, have experience of handling defender or pursuer personal injury claims. Strong technical ability to include a thorough grasp of principles and case law and topics. Working with our valued and long-standing clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice. Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally Developing your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices.We're offering you the opportunity to join a dynamic and fast paced team and gain access to top level industry training.
