Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Day to Day 

If you are looking for the challenge of working in a fast paced, high volume Payroll Department this is the role for you. As Payroll Team Leader you will guide a small team through the day to day payroll processes. You'll contribute to the achievement of the charity's ambitious growth strategy, and you'll work with the Payroll Manager on all TUPE transfers to ensure a seamless transition for all colleagues. 

Key Responsibilities 

Ensuring the day to day processes are completed accurately and on time.  Complete monthly payroll checking and reconciliation.  Responding to escalated queries.  Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Payroll function through building relationships with key stakeholders . Lead on TUPE process in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.  Leading the development of the Payroll Officers through their career pathway.  Your values: Our ideal candidate At least 2 years' experience as a Payroll Team Leader, A good foundation in payroll knowledge. Confident using excel, including using Vlookups and data manipulation CIPP qualification is desirable.
