. Morgan is seeking to hire an Equity derivatives trader in London. The individual will be required to make prices for our wide variety of clients in Exotic single stock derivative products. The individual will be required to risk manage existing positions and generate high quality trade ideas. The individual will be required to work on projects to develop our franchise. Significant knowledge of the options theory and risk management dynamics is essential, as we require the successful candidate to be able to trade and manage risk very quickly.

Job responsibilities

Execute client orders, manage client profitability  Work in close partnership with our sales colleagues globally  Build & maintain relationships with middle office and control functions Develop and maintain a full understanding of market rules and regulations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Demonstrate very good knowledge and understanding of the equity markets Be able to perform in a challenging, fast-paced environment Have outstanding communication skills as you will interact extensively within direct colleagues as well as with the sales forces and support functions Have a strong mathematical background Have experience managing equity options In-depth knowledge of the above mentioned products. Python coding knowledge is an advantage

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
