• 40hours per week working across 4 days on a 2 week rolling rota andalternate weekends off

Asa 2nd Chef at our home your role mayinvolve:

• Supportingthe Head Chef and the rest of the catering team with providingfresh homecooked meals from scratch to ourresidents
• Deliveringthe highest possible culinary standards to residents by providingnutritious wellbalanced and appetising meals from a clean safe andhygienicenvironment
• Supportingwith controlling the cateringbudget
• Maintaininga hygienic and compliant workingenvironment
• Supportingwith all day to day aspects of the cateringoperation
• Compliancewith quality and safetystandards
• Submittingfoodorders
• Undertakingany necessarytraining

Whatare we lookingfor

• Previousexperience working in a busy kitchen environment
• Apassion for producing fresh home cooked food from scratch to thehigheststandards.
• Friendlyand enthusiastic disposition ability to integrate well withothers.
• Goodorganisational skills ability to prioritiseworkloads.
• PreferablyNVQ level 2 in food hygiene
