Duration: Longer-term, transitioning to temp to perm

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4. This role is ideal for experienced educators, ECTs qualifying this year, and unqualified teachers with a strong passion for Maths education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effective Teaching: Assist students to learn effectively, develop personally, and achieve their individual potential through consistent adherence to the school’s aims and policies.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the curriculum development of the Maths department.
• Curriculum Delivery: Implement and engage pupils in a broad, balanced, relevant, and ambitious curriculum accessible to all students.
• Extra-Curricular Activities: Contribute to the school’s provision of extra-curricular activities, enriching students' educational experiences.
• Student Development: Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor.
• Raising Standards: Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and ensure value is added within the school context.
• Professional Growth: Engage in opportunities provided by the school for personal and academic growth.
• Professional Duties: Carry out professional duties as detailed in the Conditions of Service.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, for experienced teachers.
• ECTs qualifying this year and unqualified teachers are welcome to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safer Recruitment in Education check will be required.
