As a representative of OCS Security you will ensure that an exceptional end to end service is provided as per the contract requirements. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to.

Health & Safety Purpose: To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.

You will be working Monday to Sunday, 2 nights - 2 days, 07:00 to 19:00, 48 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

To provide exceptional first line manned guarding to the assigned contract. All assigned duties are achieved in a timely manner. Compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, SIA Licensing & Risk Assessments. To protect the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel through as per the contract Assignment Instructions. All duties carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner. To carry out any reasonable request as identified by your Line Manager.

Health & Safety accountabilities for the tole

Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas. Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities. Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety. To protect the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel through as per the contract Assignment Instructions. Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity. Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose. Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company procedure. Group Safety Support: You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support. Furthermore you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control. Previous experience of working within a customer focused environment. Ideally has experience of working within the Security Industry. Excellent communication skills both written & verbal. Ability to interact with all levels within an organisation. Ability to work on own initiative. A professional demeanour. An ability to demonstrate sound judgement and integrity. An ability to work proactively with others. A good level of computer literacy Ability to follow policy and procedures Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels Drivers Licence required Flexible Working
