HSS Cluster Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract within the P&O Ferries Port HSS team to cover maternity leave. 

The role will support the Irish Seas Ports assisting with the HSS (Health, Safety, Security) strategy and ensure that the highest standards of health and safety, security and management are maintained at all times. Working with the Port Management teams, subject matter experts, the Port Facilities Security Officer (PFSO) and other stakeholders, the role will take a proactive approach to advising, guiding and leading on health and safety matters including identifying risks, carrying out audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for Flag, Port State and Host States, with the cyber security requirements of the ISM code as well as delivery and maintenance of the HSSE systems within the Ports, promoting the safety culture at all times. 

The ideal candidate will already have a proven track record in engaging with Health and Safety, ideally with a Safety qualification, experience in working with H-SEAS with the ability to influence and achieve results through working in partnership with others. 

The role is a hybrid role, working both within the Ports of Larne and Cairnryan, from home but with occasional further travel to other Ports and offices within P&O Ferries, with salary being dependent on experience.
