The successful candidate will help provide a stable and sustainable environment for our customers which promotes successful, independent living, engagement, facilitates change and champions inclusion.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Support residents to sustain their tenancies and maintain their independence, self-esteem, quality of life and general well-being.
  • Deliver a consistent level of service across all relevant properties.
  • Act as a referral point for residents living in these homes, liaising with external agencies ensuring residents access the services they require.
  • Promote and embrace the principles of community gateway across services and deliver the provision of excellent housing management services to Eastlight customers living in our properties across the district.
  • Lead in managing & developing services for residents linked to these property types, ensuring regulatory, contractual and quality standards are met.
  • Provide excellent housing management services to our customers ensuring they are empowered and supported, have real control and influence over their homes and communities enabling their independence and maintaining their tenancies.

What we need from you?

  • Demonstrable experience in the housing sector.
  • Proven experience in engaging and empowering residents in the management of their homes.
  • Experience of analysing risk and responding in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements when working within housing and changes to current legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills including presentations, report writing, IT, interpersonal and influencing skills to be effective at all levels.
  • Valid driving license with access to a car with the ability to travel across the whole operating area for Eastlight locations.
  • A pivotal part of this role is the ability to manage the organisation of planned visits around Eastlight’s geographical Housing stock that may be outside of the locality of our Braintree Office – including Norwich, Cambridge and Ipswich.

  • £41,033 annual base salary + £2,200 annual car allowance
  • Permanent Contract
  • Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee’s contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
