We are currently looking for a Stockperson in the Kings Lynn, Swaffham, Fakenham area

Job responsibilities of Pig Stockperson:

You will be actively involved with all areas of the pig rearing cycle You will be based on our outdoor Breeding Unit On a day to day basis this includes feeding, moving, and handling the pigs You will also maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit

What you will need:

Experience as a Pig Stockperson is desirable You must always prioritise and adhere to animal welfare To be self-motivated, flexible and a great team player Our farms consist of teams 3-5 people, therefore you have got to be reliable and demonstrate good time keeping To own transport to reach rural farm location

Pay and benefits:

Salary – £26, starting salary The shift pattern is Monday to Friday with alternate weekend work, total of 45 hours per week Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions Discounted share scheme Death in service insurance We recognise that to do a good job, you need good equipment and we invest in quality machinery and tools to help with this We provide both on and off farm training, increasing your knowledge and experience in all areas of pig farming
