Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality math instruction to students at various levels, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student success and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education and instructional technology.

Qualifications:

  • QTS is absolutley essencial.
  • Proven experience teaching math at Secondary Level.
  • Strong knowledge of math curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students, fostering a love for mathematics.
  • Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
