Dunkeld House Hotel boasts an unrivalled experience of Scottish country living. Our four-star luxury hotel sits on 280 acres of well-maintained and natural woodland and overlooks the wide and fast-flowing River Tay. We have 100 bedrooms with a selection of conference and event facilities to accommodate weddings, private functions and business services.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all aspects of food production for
    assigned section of the kitchen
  • Product development
    and menu creation. 
  • Training and coaching team of
    Chefs and Kitchen Porters. 
  • Ordering, delivery, storage,
    preparation, cooking and service. 
  • Ensure compliance
    with HACCP, food hygiene and health and safety
    legislation. 
  • Achieving gross profit targets on dishes.
The Person:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in quality fine dining environment
  • An ability to run an elected section with confidence
  • An ability to work collaboratively with a range of people
  • Enthusiasm to learn and a desire for personal development
  • An ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment
  • A qualification in professional cookery
  • Experience in a 4* Hotel kitchen or equivalent
