About the Role:

Connex Education are currently working very closely with a great academy who are looking to employ a group of ambitious individuals to work as an unqualified teacher at their Worksop schools. You will be required to work across several departments providing relief cover where the teachers are unable to take the class.

Assignment Details:

For the unqualified teacher role we have staggered start dates, you are able to start immediately, or later on in the school year. Once employed there will be opportunities for the rest of the academic year and in to the 2024/25 academic year also; meaning you will have consistent work on offer during term time.

Person Specification:

• Have some experience working with young people in either a school setting or a similar environment, i.e.- NCS / Sports coaching etc
• Be confident in your ability to lead a class of children aged 11-16 years.
• Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.
• Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.
• Willing to undergo continual professional training.
• Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment
• Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
• Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.
