We are looking to recruit a CDT administrator for an EPSRC-funded Doctoral Training Centre. This exciting role will support the development and delivery of the CDT programmes to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the course(s).

The role-holder is responsible for developing and maintaining office procedures to administer student records and information, co-ordinate and update course documentation, maintain and update course website as required. They will deal with enquiries from current and prospective students, process student applications, liaise with the university admissions office, input information into student information system and monitor the progress.

The role-holder will also provide administration support to the Director and their research group, act as secretary to committees, arrange and take minutes at meetings, plus book venues, accommodation, travel and transport arrangements.

The successful candidate will be educated to HND level or have the equivalent level of practical experience. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, they will have the ability to deal with a wide range of people at all levels, be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills, and have experience in course administration within Higher Education.

On occasions the role-holder must be able to work flexibly as some events may require evening or weekend participation.
