Applications are invited for a post working as a General Practitioner at Rohallion Clinic, Murray Royal Hospital, Perth. This is a 2 sessions permanent post, which is becoming available due to the retirement of the current post holder.

The successful candidate will run a GP clinic to cater to the physical health needs of the patients at Rohallion Clinic. The successful candidate will provide a brief physical health update for all patients prior to their 6-monthly mental health care planning meetings. The job involves liaising with, and referral to, secondary care colleagues as appropriate. This post does not include any out of hours work. 

The candidate will not be expected to manage any mental health related issues of the patients in the clinic. Junior medical support is provided on all wards for more urgent medical issues out with GP clinic times, and for assisting with any tasks as directed by the GP such as phlebotomy, ECGs, etc. The clinic is additionally served by 24 hours on call junior medical support covering the Murray Royal Hospital site.

Applicants must be registered with the GMC and be on the performers list.
