Are you an experienced teacher seeking some flexible teaching work in Bournemouth or Christchurch? We're currently hiring dedicated individuals as Casual Supply Teachers in a range of primary schools. As a Casual Supply Teacher, you will play a role in maintaining continuity and fostering a positive learning environment, in the absence of the pupils’ class teacher.

As a Casual Supply Teacher, you will be filling in for teachers when they are absent. The schools GSL Education work with have a positive and helpful environment for both students and adults, allowing casual teachers to work at ease and feel supported.

Experience working in primary schools is essential, and any experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour or SEN would be beneficial.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Appropriate teaching qualifications and current teacher registration.
  2. Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  3. Adaptability and flexibility to excel in various classroom settings.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

  • Hold a PGCE /QTS/QTLS
  • Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
  • Be prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups within primary school (ages 4-11)

To work with GSL Education as a Cover teacher, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
