Oxford, United Kingdom Seloxium Limited Full time

Seloxium Ltd. is an innovative and diverse spin-out company originating from the University of Oxford. Our focus is on transforming clean growth and the circular economy in the mining and refining sectors. We achieve this by selectively extracting high-value metals from in-process or effluent water streams. With our patented 'selective flocculation' technology, we aim to revolutionize the way these metals are mined, refined, and processed. By offering a greener and more sustainable solution, we strive to promote resource recovery and reuse.

Industrial process wastewaters and mine tailings contain various dissolved species, including valuable and strategically important metals like gold, platinum, and rare-earth metals. These metals are challenging and costly to remove using existing technology and are typically discharged and lost as 'sludge.' Seloxium is developing the Selectal range of technology to selectively extract, flocculate, and recover a wide variety of these high-value metals from process or waste streams. Through 'Aqua Mining' with Selectal, we not only combat environmental pollution but also transform process effluent treatment plants into 'resource recovery factories'.
