We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated nurse to join our friendly Intensive Care team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
We are a cross site 13 bedded, combined Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit who are committed to delivering excellent patient care. You will be enrolled onto a 8-week supernumerary induction program which has been specifically designed to support you in gaining the foundations of Critical Care nursing to autonomously provide care to critically ill patients.
We have vacancies for staff nurses with recent acute care experience.
You should have good communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
We are a friendly, supportive team who are committed to delivering excellent patient care. Support from the clinical education team and a competency based induction program are available. Close links are maintained with the Universities and continuing professional development is encouraged.
Internal rotation to hour day and night shifts are worked. Staff work cross site at both Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Intensive Care Units.
