About the Role:

  • Position: Teacher of Drama
  • Contract: Permanent, starting in September

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring drama lessons that stimulate students' creativity and interest in the performing arts.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, school productions, and drama clubs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Drama at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for the performing arts.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
