Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant

Location: Wimborne

Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour

Start date: September  

Contract type: Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

They are seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to support autistic students of various age group. Bring your passion for inclusivity and contribute to creating an environment where every student can thrive. Join the team on this rewarding journey of empowerment

The school is looking for a calm, caring, and highly motivated individual who is very understanding of autism. Experience in a school environment is desirable but work experience that can be adapted is accepted.

This Role includes:

  • Supporting the teaching and learning of students with autism
  • Working closely with pupils that display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties
  • Working in classrooms supporting Teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants
  • Full time is preferred but part-time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available
  • Hours 8:30 am-3:30 pm

To work with GSL Education as a Autism Teaching Assistant, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.

 • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.

• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
