We’re looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Finance team in Peterborough.

The Finance Systems Analyst is pivotal in optimizing our global finance systems landscape. This role serves as a critical link between finance and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of processes and technology solutions.

The primary responsibilities include managing our SAP system relationships, overseeing updates, and facilitating the adoption of new finance technologies and functionalities. Additionally, this role will coordinate with Global Process Owners and Key Users to prioritize and implement system updates, providing support to ensure efficient financial operations worldwide.

Our Team

This is a newly established team who will support the Finance Executive Leadership Team to support the global Finance Transformation and will work on optimising and developing the finance technology infrastructure going forward.

This is a Hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office Peterborough.

What you’ll be doing

Supports key users in “translating” business needs to the technology team Act as the bridge and facilitate communication between finance / technology teams Manage the relationship with SAP, collaborating with the technology team. Manage SAP updates and regression testing in conjunction with technology team Actively identify and report issues & improvement suggestions to SAP. Identifyi new finance products to enhance financial operations Assess and coordinate needs for external consultants/trainers. Represent the finance interests in the space of MDG strategy. Act as a bridge between Global Process Owners (“GPO’s”) and Key Users. Develop work arounds and end state solutions for finance system challenges.

What you’ll bring

Experience in a business analyst role experience in managing change processes Able to clearly articulate ideas, project status, and technical issues Experience with SAP4Hana desirable or equivalent system Experience of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or equivalent system
