Summary: This positionwill be responsible for offering facility maintenance support of aR&D facility involving chemistry biosafety andelectromechanical system labs for medical devices and drugproducts. Under direction of the SR Facility Manager the incumbentwill contribute to the design development and enhancement of allthe facility and utility equipment. Manage projects to replacemodernize and improve the facilities as required to maintain theplant in peak condition.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:
Performengineering assignments which are typically a significant portionof a larger project. Select sound techniques to tackle problems andmake design recommendations under direction of manager. Assessresults for application validity and conformance to specifications.Recommend material and process specifications.
Utilizecontractors and design firms to complete capital projects safelyand in a timely manner.
Utilize facility engineeringprinciples to solve problems.
Act independently tocomplete projects ranging from small shortterm projects to largemultiyear projects.
Monitor and report project costsincluding capital and crossfunctional expenses. Estimate costaffected by design and/or policy changes. With manager recommendcapital expenditure and cost saving facility/processimprovements.
Study and recommend techniques to improveexisting utilities/facilities processes.
Investigate newsources for utilities/facilities processes.
With managerformulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work inaccordance with project and business objectives.
Provideproject supervision to maintenance personnel andcontractors.
Collaborate with plant personnel tocomplete requested facility projects in a timely manner.
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
Learn understand and apply rigorous quality standards StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good ManufacturingPractices (cGMP)
Lead Shipping and receiving efforts forthe whole facility.
Implement and manage a computerizedMaintenance Management System. Help andsupport facilities projects
Working with electronicplumbing
Manage Vendor Management
Help andsupport Shipping process
Material Handling
Purchasing experience Write purchase orders.
All otherduties as assigned.

Qualifications:
5 or more years ofexperience in a facility/utility engineering role.
Prefer experience with lean methods (e.g. six sigma TPMetc.)
Display a solid technical understanding ofmechanical engineering principles and procedures and theirapplication to the plant.
Understand and articulate howown role ties into maintenance and plant operations.
Demonstrated application of engineering principles related toutility systems.
Demonstrate knowledge of compressed airvacuum steam purified water and gas systems.
Understandverbal and written safety and quality instructions.
Readand comprehend written work instructions including words anddrawings.
Must have basic English written and oralcommunication skills adequate to communicate with other teammembers.
Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issuesarise.
Excellent organizational skills.
Multitasking and timemanagement skills with the ability toprioritize tasks.
Customer service attitude.

Education and/orExperience:
Bachelors degree in related fieldwith 3 years experience.
Associate degree in relatedfield with 5 years experience.
High School Diploma with7 years experience. Experience in logisticsactivities Shipping Receiving and Purchasing

Physical Requirements:
This positionmay involve exposure to moving machinery lift trucks UV lightbiohazards and hazardous chemicals.
Ability tolift/carry 25 lbs.
Bend stoop sit kneel and/or stand forextended periods of time.
